SOLUTIONS – a member of TUAN LE Group, proudly held a ground-breaking ceremony to mark the start of construction at TRELLEBORG’s new manufacturing facility in the Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, Vietnam on Tuesday, 16 Jan 2024.
SOLUTIONS will accomplish all the design, civil, structural, M&E and finishing works of the project with a total contract valued at 30 million USD.
The factory is designed and built toward LEED Gold certification, highlighting SOLUTIONS’ all-encompassing capability in delivering fully integrated construction solutions.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Richard Hepworth – President of Trelleborg Marine and Infrastructure, said: “Besides housing state-of-the-art equipment and technology that will help us scale up our production capabilities significantly and deliver on our commitment to superior manufacturing standards, this new state-of-the-art facility also marks a significant milestone in our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our valued customers across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.”
With construction schedule of 15 months, the new facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 with production coming online in 2026.
